PTFE Sewing Thread (Polytetrafluoroethlyene)
Extremely resistant to
 UV sunlight, cleaning chemicals, saltwater, extreme weather, heat and acid rain.
 Normally optional at 10% additional cost.
NOW INCLUDED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST!!!!
 You should not have to have your cover restitched due to thread rot from UV damage

 

Add the cost of one additional foot for full battened mainsails
(because of the cost of additional yardage required)

Mast mounted winches may chafe through your cover. 
Reinforcement patches can be fabricated at a small additional cost.

Glen Raven, manufacturers of charge more for certain colors
Covers fabricated in reds and a few other colors are at slightly higher prices

 

  •  9.5 oz Boat Canvas, ( by Glen Raven). Water repellent and UV resistant. Fabric is guaranteed     against normal wear for 5 years.

  • Your choice of several colors at listed prices.  Some colors are available at additional cost.

  • Marine Grade Heavy YKK Zipper, #10 UV resistant, along mast with drawstring collar closure.

  • Reinforced aft closure with tie.

  • All seams are either hemmed or heat sealed for greater durability.

  • Dacron reinforcement tape used under hem along length.

  • Headboard reinforcement patches are standard on covers over 11 feet in length

  • Dot twist to close fasteners along bottom (Nickel Plate over Brass).

  • All seams are hot knifed or hemmed to prevent unraveling. Your cover will look better and last longer.

  • These covers will be made to order for your boat.  Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.
